During the C9 Water Conservation Summit, Mesa County Commissioner Bobbie Daniel had the opportunity to tour the Roaring Judy Fish Hatchery in Gunnison County. This hatchery is home to Colorado’s largest kokanee salmon spawn and is critical in the state's fish population management.

Commissioners Bobbie Daniel and Janet Rowland, Sheriff’s Office Division Chief Henry Stoffel, and Mesa County Behavioral Health team joined Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser and other Colorado leaders in Loveland on Monday, Sept. 30, for the 3rd Colorado Opioid Abatement Conference.

The 21st Judicial District is offering residents with certain active warrants an opportunity to clear their records and move forward with their lives. Warrant Forgiveness Day will take place on Saturday, Oct. 19, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Mesa County Justice Center, 125 N. Spruce St.

This week at the Sept. 24 administrative public hearing, the Board of Commissioners approved a letter to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) regarding the Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area Business Plan.

On Tuesday, Sept. 24, at the public hearing, the commissioners proudly recognized a remarkable group of Mesa County employees who have dedicated 20 to 30 years of outstanding public service! These incredible individuals have consistently served our community with passion and dedication for two decades or more.
